Quote of the Day:
Morning Class: Today in morning class we had First Aid. To start the class we spoke about what First Aid actually is, and who is meant to look after you if you get sick. We also went through our CPR again. We then go into groups of two's. I was with Jess A. We got a topic to research on. Our topic was major wounds. We spoke about different wounds and how to treat them. We also showed the class how to do a donut bandage.
Afternoon Class: For afternoon class we had surfing. It was so much fun the waves were perfect for it. The guy said at the start of the class that he will be assessing us this class on out teachnecks. He said to me after a few minutes being in the water that I was AMAZING!! So he gave me a challenge, it was so catch a barrel, but because there were none today he said that I would have to surf like I was in one. It took quite a few go's to get it but then I finally got the hang of things. It was so much fun. We have noticed that over the pasted few weeks that the water has been changing temperature, it has gotten very cold, and it was kind of green today. Mr. Johnston, said to me today that it looked like I was born in the water because I was surfing like a pro.
Evening Class: For last night's class we had seminaries and Metaphors. We had to right in our one notes some seminaries and metaphors that relate to Snowy.
Daily Reflection Challenge:
You have written really well, as per usual. Mr. Johnston is right, you were AMAZING today while surfing! I was so jealous. And you did quite well teaching the class about major wounds too. Well done.
